Is it just me, or is this like the third time the government has announced this?

Next week's big news: the economy did well in the third quarter when W. sent out checks in the mail to people who desperately needed groceries! Untold fine print: it all goes to national debt, for which we will have to pay interest for a very long time (weakening the dollar.) Now W, how bout extending unemployment benefits? That would also go right back into groceries and consumer spending.
